Adventure Curriculum for Physical Education: Middle School (2002) by Jane Panicucci, Lisa Faulkingham Hunt, and Amy Kohut.

The very best of Project Adventure's 30 years of experience in Physical Education is captured in their Adventure Curricula for Physical Education series. The elementary, middle school and high school curricula contain complete and sequenced lesson plans and are aligned with national and state Physical Education standards. Activities are designed to address issues such as developing leadership ability, enhancing problem-solving skills and learning to work as a member of a team. Assessment tools are included.

The curriculum units target national standards and frameworks, involve age-appropriate, sequenced lessons, and provide applicable and authentic assessment. During grades 9-12, themes of leadership, creativity and risk-taking are particularly important concepts for students to master for success.
